Castagnole Monferrato is located northeast of Asti in Piedmont. The Luca Ferraris family is the largest family-run producer of the seven regions producing DOCG Luce di Castagnole.
The history of Ferraris begins in 1921, when owner Luca's great-grandmother purchased a house on Via al Castello. Two years later, in 1923, they began making wine. In 1999, the current owner, Luca, took over the winery and began producing high quality wine using the indigenous Luque variety.
