The wine is sparkling red in the glass with a cool aroma of fresh, red berries and a slight note from barrel ageing. The taste is full with the typical velvety softness of the Merlot grape. A long and elegant aftertaste with perfect tannins shows a typical Lalande de Pomerol.
This wine is particularly suitable for beef, but also goes well with veal, lamb and mature cheese.
