Alce Nero organic durum wheat couscous is made exclusively from 100% Italian durum wheat, cultivated by our farmers. Couscous is a typical North African dish and consists of granulated durum wheat semolina. The production process of Alce Nero couscous involves the traditional phases for the preparation of this product, inspired by how it was originally made by North African women at home. It is a mixture of semolina and water which is then steamed and dried with hot air. Alce Nero organic wholemeal couscous is naturally rich in fibre.
It is ready in 5 minutes and is ideal served with boiled meats, boiled vegetables and fish, as per North African culture.
