TerraSana Tamari Chicken Stir-Fry with Organic Rice Noodles

This quick stir-fry gives imported pantry ingredients the leading role. TerraSana tamari provides the savoury base, TerraSana organic rice noodles make it a complete meal, Yakso coconut aminos add mellow depth, and Bart ginger and garlic pastes remove most of the chopping. Fresh chicken breast and vegetables complete the dish.

Fresh ingredient: Fresh Chicken Breast, 500g

Ingredients

  • 500g fresh chicken breast, cut into thin strips
  • 250g TerraSana organic Thai rice noodles
  • 1 tablespoon TerraSana tamari
  • 1 tablespoon Yakso coconut aminos
  • 1 teaspoon Bart ginger paste
  • 1 teaspoon Bart garlic paste
  • 1 red pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot, cut into fine strips
  • 1 small courgette, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons neutral cooking oil
  • 1 teaspoon BioOrto chilli-flavoured olive oil, optional, to finish
  • 50ml water

Method

  1. Prepare the rice noodles according to the packet instructions. Drain, rinse briefly if directed on the pack, and set aside.
  2. Mix the tamari, coconut aminos, ginger paste, garlic paste and 50ml water in a small bowl.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a wok or large frying pan over high heat. Stir-fry the chicken in batches until browned and fully cooked. Transfer to a plate.
  4. Add the remaining oil and stir-fry the pepper, carrot and courgette for 3–4 minutes, keeping them slightly crisp.
  5. Return the chicken to the pan, add the prepared sauce and toss for 1 minute.
  6. Add the noodles and toss over the heat until evenly coated and hot throughout. Add a splash of water if the noodles begin to stick.
  7. Finish with a small drizzle of BioOrto chilli olive oil if desired and serve immediately.

Imported ingredient spotlight

Tamari brings concentrated savoury flavour, while coconut aminos softens the sauce with a slightly sweeter profile. The rice noodles absorb both without becoming heavy. Bart pastes are useful store-cupboard ingredients for fast weekday cooking because they provide ginger and garlic flavour without peeling or grating.

Alternative combinations

Replace the tamari and coconut aminos with TerraSana Organic Teriyaki Wok Sauce for a sweeter version, or use TerraSana Organic Cantonese Hoisin Wok Sauce for a richer glaze. Always check individual labels where a specific allergen-free diet is required.

Food-safety note: Cook chicken completely through, with no pink meat. A thermometer inserted into the thickest piece should read at least 75°C.
